Default 3200+ versus 2600+

I have a barton 2600+ unlocked running 11x216 (2378Mhz) This proc needs a
vcore of 2.05v and generates quite some heat.
I can get my hands on a 3200+ (AXDA3200DKV4E Y829273280371 AQXDA0314VPDW
1999 AMD)
I think this one's unlocked (week14?)
Now the 3200+ wil give me the same results easy with problably a vcore of
around 1.75v thus generating less heat and beter overclocking possibilities.
I know these 2 chips are identically the same, with the only difference that
the 2600 needs more volts to get the same results as the 3200. (right?)
My burning question is, is it worth the money (170 Euro) getting this 3200+
?

Thx for any advice.

i would say no ......... just lower ur fsb to around 210 ....... get a
thermoelectric hsf ( swiftech ) makes some good ones and slap a vantec
tornado and then check ur temps ...... if they are cool enough then go ahead
and o/c that bitch some more ....... u are lucky to have an unlocked one
......... enjoy it and save ur cash for your future upgrades .
