Default Twinmos DDR PC3200 256MB different versions ?

Hi all,

Recently I ordered two sticks of TwinMos DDR400 256MB memory to be used in a
dual-channel configuration (in my soon to be delivered Albatron px865pe Pro
II mainboard)

The webshop delivered me the following modules (see
www.vanabeelen.demon.nl/117_1757.jpg)

Can someone of you tell me what the difference between these modules is and
if these will be able to work together in a dual DDR400 channel
configuration.

I heard that the chips have to be identical so I'm worried if I'm not better
of returning on of the two ?

Thx,

Louis

Bad news. Although I could not make out all of the part numbers on your
picture, I can tell they are different. The Dual Mode specification states
that they be 'identical'. But, that's not saying that they won't work.
Dunno why they sent you a DIMM with heatsink, on it, though. Might be a way
older part. If you have probs, just keep your receipt!

I'd have to double check, but I'm sure my abit nf7-s is pretty lax about
these things. I've got 2 of those PC3200 Twinmoses like that in your top
picture. I took one out to test a generic stick of PC2700 (NOT twinmos) and
the abit STILL said dual channel enabled! Could be a false memory, but it
was only last week!
