'fasted died out' sounded like fastest *dried out* keyboard,

He/She mixed up "soon" and "fast", but then both words are talking about
time.

BTW, Chinese speak multiple languages.

I speak Cantonese in Hong Kong, while those living in Beijing speak
Putonghua. Those living in Shanghai speak a dialect of Putonghua, if I
remember correctly....

I think Putonghua was called Mandarin back when China was still a
communist country, enemy of western values.

Well in USA, Spanglish is a second language spoken by Mexican/Hispanic/Anchor babes population.

California recently renamed as "Mexifornia."

They sell a keyboard for $4.97.

"07/15/2012
Lasted one day, then a couple of keys went south, the z quit working,
the w would only do caps, the a became a weird symbol, and the q just wouldn't work"

Was your keyboard one of those ?

Some other site sells those, and jokingly refers to "International Warranty".

For $4.97, you wouldn't think there would be any electronics inside of it.

Noticed a sale the other day, Cooler Master now touting itself among
"keyboard players." Same prices, around $50US, for keyboards I'd
usually associate with half-off Chicony or various higher-end tactile
switches - Montery, Alps Electric, Cherry, SMK, Mitsumi, Aristotle
(Yali). Believe all my keyboards, since I growing serious about them,
have been ALPs (replaced my last Northgate keyboard with a FOCUS).

Although that isn't to say there aren't a few things of cheap value
still to be found in WalMart: hotdogs, tea, pasturized cheese, and
late-night women at their 24-hour centers.

Thanks for this observation. I have long predicted the breakup of China due to the various languages, and not just western China from eastern, but north from south. I speak as an expert on China, having dated a girl from Shanghai once. However, let's not make this thread political.

I am not a prophet in politics and military. But then if a break-up
could mean better life for everyone, why not?

Beware of beautiful Chinese she-spy!
