Internet retailing grew up and became responsible, and those that grew up here went on to better, bigger and brighter things - or became eBay merchants... OTOH, with the exception of custom gaming rigs, PC's aren't special enough anymore and plain vanilla has gained general acceptance, any of which can be obtained adequately dressed from the local supermarket in the geezer cabinet. And then, we have the long and protracted death of usenet. Even retailers have their own on-site forums. Have a problem with an item purchased, and that's the first port of call to raise hell. But ye knew all that, and are in morning. Same here, Let's wail ;-(........ -- Adrian C |
