Default 6600 GT AGP Cooler need one for a HTPC !!

The cooler must not go over the top of the card like the Zalman vf700.
But be more like the VF900 which i wish was compatible with my 6600 gt
AGP.

But from what i read its not

Any ideas on a quiet effective cooler for my card. Iam desperate to
reduce the heat and noise. The stock cooler is now fitted and its
quiet enough but produces alot of heat. WOuld like a big fan their
blow the arround arroudn abit m ore.

Thanks.

Spac eis tight so i can onyl fir one 120mm fan at the top of the case.
Blowing in or out not sure ??

If you have any Experience with the Antec Overture 2 case you know
what i mean.

Thanks again.

Tippy-top of case? Out. Exhaust the hot air out.

Heat rises, so suck that hot air right out of your case.

A heatpipe solution with a case fan blowing a positive air flow across
the card is probably your best alternative. Zalman makes a well known one:

That's basically a large dual sided heatpipe assembly. I looked up your
case (pretty nice), but I really can't say for sure what your clearance
will be (if any). I'd say, try it since with an HTPC your primary goal
is a silent machine that runs about as cool as stock fans. Don't expect
the Zalman to lower your card temp any more than the HSF on it now -
it's purely for silent running.
