Hi, I have a Compaq Deskpro EN P866 (small form factor). During POST,
I receive the "Invalid electronic serial number" message that requires me to push F1 to continue. When I looked in the BIOS, the serial number fields were all blank. I'm new to doing this. Is there a way for me to find the processor serial number so I can re-enter it? Is it this easy? Thanks, Vin |

The PC serial number should be on a white bar code sticker on the back of
the unit. HH "Vin" wrote in message ... Hi, I have a Compaq Deskpro EN P866 (small form factor). I figured it out myself...the BIOS was looking for the s/n on the
case...plugged that in...the error went away. On Tue, 17 Feb 2004 20:25:59 -0500, Vin wrote: Hi, I have a Compaq Deskpro EN P866 (small form factor).
