Using smaller video with SKYPE ?

I have a friend that has dialup and I have cable. I was wondering if
there is a way to send 320 x 240 video instead of 640 x 480. We can
get the video to work a little but I think if we could both use
smaller size it would work better. I cannot find anywhere where we can
control it. We both have Logitech cameras.

Even if you could change the video size you would still have problems
with the dial up connection. I tried this years ago with Netmeeting
sending video @ 320x240, but the results were bad. Even with only one
person on dial up will produce poor results at both ends. The dial up
connection is not fast enough to either send or receive decent
video...and remember that the video is two way all the time...add to
that dial up you are also trying to send audio.
Get you friend off dial up if possible :-)
