Default Strange problem

All fairly new.
MSI 645 P2 MB
3 ghz chip.

SATA and ATA drive
ATI 9600 AIW card.

This evening while running a mail program from my secondary ATA drive,
the drive disappeared. In wasn't in My Computer.

I rebooted checked bios and it wasnt there. So unpluged the drive
booted and then rebooted with it pluged back in and it was there, no
problems.

A few minutes later on another reboot, nothing on the screen. I
thought that maybe the video connector had come loose when I moved the
computer so secured it, still nothing Had another video card, put
that in, still nothing. Turned the montor on while unplugged from the
computer, got the normal test screens.

Plugged everything back in and now everything works again.

IRQ resource problem/? if it happens again, try resetting the CMOS and/or
set 'reset configuration data' to (YES) PnP play OS to (NO). wordage maybe
different or you may only have one or the other. Secure/reseat all cables
and cards.

For how long? It sounds to me like you have an iffy power supply. -Dave

Been working fine since yesterday. I was thinking power supply but
since so far that was a one time event, not sure. MB, WinXP SP2?

A few days ago, in working with MS Access, I went to print a report
and it wouldn't print, and it said no printer. Yet my printer had
been working fine. I openned up another ap and printed from that and
then went back and Access could now see the printer and it printed
fine.
