Default Color problem with Agfa SnapScan e50 and ScanWise 2.0.0.9 under XP Home

During the preview phase - while the scanner is working -
a photo is shown in correct colors.

As soon as the preview phase is over and the frame is shown,
the photo appears in ugly red/violet colors.

I have already tried:
1. Installation of ScanWise 2.0.0.9 on a recently built XP
system (i.e. ScanWise is the last software installed)
2. Deleting one of the color profiles (e50 Agfa Rx and Tx)
and only using the other one
3. Running ScanWise 2.0.0.9 in Windows 95 compatibility mode

No success so far. Any ideas would be much appreciated! :-)
