19" 1600x1200 TFT monitors

Is the Iiyama H1900 the *only* 19" TFT monitor that does 1600x1200
resolution? I'm after a replacement for my existing 19" CRT monitor
and would like to keep the 1600x1200 resolution that I use at the
moment but don't want a significantly larger screen area.

It turns out that even the Iiyama H1900 isn't really 1600x1200, its
native resolution is 1280x1024 like most other 19" monitors. The
1600x1200 is achieved by some sort of jiggery pokery on the DVI input
only.

On top of that you will probably also find out that a 17 or 18 inch
TFT will have about the same screen size as a 19 inch CRT as the
measurements for calculating screen size for a CRT take into acount
total tube size not just the bit you can see.

Yes, I knew that, my 19" CRT monitor is actually a fraction over 18"
diagonal. However I don't want to go any smaller so at least a 19"
TFT monitor seems to be the way to go. There are of course a few 18"
TFTs around, maybe I should take a look at those.
