Default P5P800 SE and odd Pentium Ds

Has anybody had any luck running the new Pentium D 915 or 945 on a P5P800 SE
mainboard? They aren't shown as being supported by the SE in the CPU grids on
the Asus web site, although all the other Ds up through the 960 are. Also, the
SE's "little sister" P5P800-VM is shown to support these CPUs plus the upcoming
925 that are basically the D 920, 930 and 950 without Virtualization Technology.

The SE has had a BIOS update that added CPU support since the VM had its last
one, so I thought maybe somebody might have overlooked adding the 915, 925 and
945 to the SE's supported CPUs list.

That's exactly what happened! I sent email to tech support at Asus asking if D
945 support might have been inadvertently omitted from the online CPU support
grid for the P5P800 SE. The 915, 925 and 945 have now been added to the list
confirming that the last BIOS update (0803 dated July 10) did add support for
these three CPUs.
