120 WD is removable media?
I've got a WD 120GB drive that XP home thinks is a removable media drive.
The box is a P4VMM2 with a 2.4 GHz P4 and 533 FBS; 544Mb of 266MHz Micron DDR memory; new M/B; new 400 watt P/S. Before any changes, the HDD acted the same as now. Boot from CD, go to repair console and try to format the drive. Message is that I can't format removable media. Anybody have any idea what is going on? R. Wink |
