I'm not sure if this list contains DVD-ROMs, of if it is just standalone
units, but you might try searching for your (unspecified) reader:

http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers

I know that DVD+R is generally less supported than DVD-R, so that might be a
problem. At any rate, you might be able to find some answers at the
aforementioned site:
