Default Wireless keyboard and mouse?

Have an Archos 101 G9 Turbo with Android 4.01. Found this

"Wireless RF Technology
Many people do not realize that Bluetooth is not the only wireless
technology for keyboards. An RF keyboard can be linked to a tablet as long
as the tablet has a USB port where a RF receiver can be connected. Follow
the steps below to connect a wireless RF keyboard to a tablet.
Connect the RF receiver to the tablet’s USB port. The tablet can be on
or off.
Press the button on the receiver and the button on the keyboard in order
to sync the two.
Lights on both should be on and the keyboard should work on the tablet."

I have a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, will they work together?
Would it need drivers or something? Obvious answer is to try it and see but
I don't have a standard USB to Micro USB adapter, would have to buy one
specially.

Funny thing is, the products listed here, have keyboards but no mice.
Maybe there's no input method for mice ?

http://www.logitech.com/en-us/tablet...sories/android

The article here, mentions jail breaking and using a BTStack.
So maybe having an available Bluetooth stack
in the target OS is an issue ?

Just a guess,

There are Bluetooth keyboards available for tablets but wondering if an RF
keyboard meant for PC will work. Seems that a mouse won't work on Android
which to me seems odd! Standard to micro USB adapter fairly cheap so may
give it a try anyway.

It should, usually the non-bluetooth wireless keyboards look exactly
like a wired keyboard to the computer or tablet they're plugged into. I
know people use these in the Raspberry Pi for example and they are
easier that Bluetooth which requires the messy pairing thing before use.

No idea why you'd think a mouse doesn't work with Android. For me a
mouse works just fine, I just plugged one to my phone and I've used a
bluetooth one before.

Come to think of it, ancient Android might well have problems but
anything since 4.0 should be fine.

Will be connecting tablet to large screen TV to show YouTube etc., being
able to control it wirelessly will make it easier to use and more versatile.
Had been using an old XP PC to do this but that has given up the ghost
(BER).
