Six Core i7?
Does Dell sell any XPS unit with a six core i7 processor? To my surprise
the XPS 8500 appears to be limited to four cores. -- W

Hi W, Currently, Dell XPS 8500 Desktops are available with 3rd Generation Intel Core™ i7-3770 processors that are quad core with 8MB Intel Smart Cache.

Six Core i7?
The XPS 9300 was offered with a i7 Extreme Edition processor with 6 physical

I think the issue is that Dell has stopped marketing high performance PC's
themselves and is relying on Alienware to fill those needs. I believe you can still get the new 6-core I7 processers in an Alienware system. "Timothy Daniels" wrote in message m...
