XPS Studio 9000/435T motherboard
I'm getting three beeps from my 9000. It looks like the motherboard is dead. Dell doesn't have a replacement for that any more. Will a standard motherboard fit in the 9000's case?

The 435T motherboard is a standard full-sized ATX board. If the chassis has an I/O panel that can be removed, replacement is straightforward, and you have your pick of full ATX, micro ATX and mini ITX sizes. If, instead, there are openings in the back for the motherboard connectors, major surgery with a Dremel or similar tool would be required. The motherboard is an Intel first generation i-series with LGA 1366 socket. But see if you can find one of these boards for sale on eBay. Right now, one is for sale with a Buy Now price of $100...
