Anybody use an iPhone?

"John Doe" wrote How user-friendly? How expensive? Is the interface and screen big enough? I like mine, but the price could be better. Very user friendly and nice screen for old eyes. I love it. Looking forward to buying the next version when my 500 year contract expires. FWIW. The name "iPhone" is misleading. It is an ultraportable touch screen driven computer with lots of connectivity. It quickly replaced my (Garmin Venture HC handheld) GPS, sold it on eBay. It plots your current location, and (in US cities) it automatically provides bus route information to your destination. Along the same line, my applications already include animated weather radar (not a great application, but they are rapidly getting better) and USGS topographical maps. The touch screen works like a good touchpad, that makes manipulating maps a breeze. The most impressive feature is the touch screen, it saves space and is an extremely flexible input method. |

In the US the only downside is that you have to use AT&T service. :-) |
