Default Good price on Ultrasharp 27" (2709W) Monitor (9/25/08)

I usually don't post here about good deals, but I'll make an exception
this time.

For someone looking for a great large-screen monitor, the Dell
Ultrasharp 27" 2709W is a great choice. It has a LOT of connectivity
options.

Recently it had sold for $999, but the base price dropped to $899, and
now it's $200 off, so it's "only" $699.

Yes, that is still expen$ive, but it's where the 24" monitors used to
be price-wise.

I have the 24" counterpart and really like it. I wish I had held out
for the newer 27" but that was not meant to be.

£439.74 here in the UK.........exchange rate is approx 1.84 so $809
equivalent.

$699 would bring it in over here at £374, I think Dell would have a
stampede on their hands if they sold it at that price here.....

Yes, it's an awesome price. I was tempted to buy one, but I have two
24" monitors and it would be foolish to buy another large screen
monitor.

This is probably the lowest it will go for a while. It's basically
$300 off what it was selling for a month ago.
