Default Problem writing to CDRW

Using a Lite-On 48x12x48. When i try to write to a CDRW i get the error
message:

Cannot copy [file name]: Files on this CD-ROM drive are read-only. You
cannot copy or move files over to this CD-ROM drive.

The only way i can use this CDRW is to open Nero, erase the disk and then
add the files i want. I have to do this every time. I tried using InCD,
but it doesn't seem to do anything. It says it's formatting, but afterwards
nothing changes. (What does InCD do anyhow?)

Curiously, other CDRW work perfectly. Any advice on how to get the CDRW to
work like it's supposed to?

It seems likely that it is doing exactly what it is supposed to do in Nero.

Please see one of the usual sources for information on the behavior of
erasable and write-once CDs: the CD-R FAQ and the primer at my WWW site.
You should also check on packet writing there to understand what UDF is
all about.

It seems likely that you are trying to master to a formatted (UDF) disc.
Since the disc has been written by formatting, it cannot be mastered
until it is erased. Few recommend writing fixed-length packets since it
is the most fragile and least reliable way to write to CD. To return the
disc to a condition where it can be mastered, you may need to do a full
erase, not a quick one.
