Apple Store UK - worst delivery in the UK?

Apple aren't the only people who will sell you a BTO mac, although not
all sell all the options, iBooks, powerbooks, iMacs and powermacs aren't
too bad but some mac mini configs may be a bit tricky as there are about
60 different variations on the mac mini so I think some of the dealers
have given that up as a bad idea.


Yup, the margin is already ridiculously low. Retailers are trying to go the
other way with miniMacs and add value by putting together what they hope will
be attractive bundles.

Yes well I did comment only half in jest to Jigsaw when I ordered the
Mini's that although I'd defected and ordered the those from Apple [1]
that at least he'd got the profitable end of the order when I ordered
the extras from them.

[1] Out of all the mindblowingly variations Jigsaw were offering they
weren't doing the ones I wanted
