scoll wheel setting on a 200 laptop
Hello,
I have a 200 XL with the scoll wheel touchpad and a Microsoft USB scroll wheel optical mouse. The scoll wheel setting "lines per scroll" always defaults to 1 after each reboot. I am currently using the Synaptics touchpad driver. Is there a registry setting I can modify to make my preferences permanent? I also had this problem with a Solo5300 with the standard touchpad and a scroll wheel USB mouse. Removing the Synaptics driver and just using the generic microsoft driver fixed the problem. My guess is that Synaptics drivers aren't designed to keep track of this setting. Is that my only option again? Thanks for any help. Please respond to the group. Don |
