New style AMD CPU packaging
"Ed" wrote in message ... Upon opening the processor up, I was horrified to find that AMD have a new packaging technique which involves laminating over the top of ALL of the bridges. http://www.ocprices.com/?rev_id=179 So does this signal a rush for older/current stock rather than wait any longer ? and if buying CPU only will this be easy to spot. Horrified??? You should be happy! Those are the good o/c'n CPU's. My 1700
looks like that and overclocks easily to 2.5ghz. "Ed" wrote in message ...
