DirectCD under Windows XP
"Ralph Wade Phillips" wrote in message ... You've just run into why I don't use it, recommend against it, and feel like it's almost SatanSpawn for people to use. RwP I agree 100% ... it was kinda cool when I first got it, being able to drag and drop files like a floppy, but it quickly became more of an annoyance than a benefit. Now I just burn my RW's with Nero (I never trusted the built-in XP burning capability ... but I'm sure it works fine just the same) When you open Nero it automatically sees the files already on the CD. You can add and/or remove any files you wish, hit "burn" and let it do it's thing. (though I don't know if it actually reclaims the space from the deleted files ... I very seldom use RW's) |
