Default how to open TravelMate 2300 (to change CMOS battery)

Hello!!

I've an Acer TravelMate 2300 with problems in USB ports, I've try
everything unless delete CMOS.

I've thinking about remove the motherboard battery for some seconds to
delete CMOS, but I don't know how to open the laptop..

Could anyone tell the way to open the laptop and remove the battery?

My laptop is like TravelMate 4000 and 4500.

Thanks in advance.

Note: I have search in http://www.eserviceinfo.com/ and I only found a
part list.

If your talking about the Laptop battery you shouldn't have to open the
case to remove it. Consult your user manual for how to remove the
battery. If your talking about the mini-battery on the cmos again
consult your user manual on how to open the various compartments.

The trick with most of these Acer compartments is that there are small
plastic tabs that pop in and out. Consult the user manual; remove all
the visible screws on the appropriate compartment; gently pry the cover
with a pen knife or screw driver; locate the little plastic tabs
holding the comparment cover in; pry a little more until they pop free.
I tried this in my Acer Aspire. It was nerver wracking, but it worked.
I was convinced that the cover would break, but it didn't.
