Hi ,
I amlooking for a specific printer part, especially the printer
encoder used to find the position of the feed roller in a printer ..
i want a encoder that can fit a 6mm diamotor shaft and sensor works on
5V with single wire PWM out put which gives the position of the feed
roller .

I am trying to adapt this sensor to a project of mine ..

can you please tell me what brand and model of printer i canget such a
encoder from ...?

Wouldn't it be easier to find the bare sensor, or even make yuor own?

I do not think you will find any printer encoder that outputs single wire
PWM. The models I am familiar with (which would include any HP DeskJet made
in recent years) would have a quadrature encoder output.
