Warning!!!!!
Stay clear of www.overclockers.co.uk I recently bought a graphics card from
them for over £200, the card is faulty and I have spent over three days now trying to contact them to return it. They don't answer their phones or emails, I passed it on to the disputes dept of my credit card people and they spent a day trying to get hold of someone with no success (just rings) I am now going to contact trading standards, I will never purchace from them again as I have now read many horror stories of people with the same problem. Shower of s**t!!!! |

They don't look too good if you take into consideration these customer reviews at Reseller Ratings. This is a place I look before I leap into any online purchase and I would say to you Jimbo to do the same and save the grief. I hope you get your hard earned $ back mate. "jimbo" wrote in message ... Also I'd recommend that no one buys their "B-grade" items as they are more like "Z-grade", no box, no manual, no bits, no anything. Both boards I received came on their own in a cardboard box and looked well used. On the contrary, my "B-grade" Asus P4P800 S-E Deluxe (deep breath!) could have EASILY been passed off as new, even the accessories (which the description said were missing) were included. In fact, I think it was new because the piece of tape sealing the anti-stat bag looked like it'd never been off! Nice one OcUK! |

i had the same, i brought some wireless gear and paid extra for
nextday........3 days later, no parcel and im off on holiday. Amtrak (also a **** shipping company) failed to deliever 2 times while i was on holiday, even though someone was in *MOST* of the day. My sister then went to the amtrak office, 2 hours before closing and guess what? it was already closed. I come back from holiday, and phone OCUK....... 3 days later of "this line is busy crap" i phone barclaycard, and within 2days the money is mine again, so i ordered from http://www.cclonline.com instead.....which was delieverd on time, and was also cheaper...... OCUK was my main source, but since theres no way of contact, other than phone, which never works I WILL NOT do business again with them... shame really... at least with CCL, tekheads etc you and email them and get a reply...or if not, phone them and talk to a HUMAN......... -- From Adam Webb, Overlag www.tacticalgamer.com CS:SOURCE server now active "jimbo" wrote in message ... Oh dear, shame about those of you who have had what you deem bad service,
maybe I have just been really really lucky with all my orders. I have ordered from CCL, Watford, Tekheads, Dabs, Kustom PC, and OCUK, and never had a problem with any of them. One time there was a problem with an item being out of stock, and OCUK phoned me to see if there was an alternative item I wanted! Good service in my book. But the mention in dispatches goes to Hitachi, who sent a courier to my front door with a replacement tft, I was so impressed that I wrote to PC Zone's, "Saints Not Sinners," section. |

well ive had 2 or 3 problems with OCUK in the past, but always ended up
going back. They've grown a bit too big again, and need a few more months to catch up with getting staff training etc... much the same with i think it was 2001-2002. they sucked then too, not enough staff, bad customer service etc. 1999-2000 was fine for me, as well as 2003-2004ish. -- From Adam Webb, Overlag www.tacticalgamer.com CS:SOURCE server now active "Carl" wrote in message ...
