DVD writer not recognised....

Just swopped my CD writer for an OEM Panasonic 106.
I can play audio and burn CDR but not DVD within XP, however I managed
to do a Nortons Ghost backup succesfully onto DVD media.
So DOS see's the drive but not XP(v5.1)?
I imagine I need a driver or patch for XP, but I can't find anything

Help....fridge is slowly emptying of beer

How are you trying to burn the DVD? Use Nero or something. That
(should) work.

How are you trying to burn the DVD? Use Nero or something. That
(should) work.

No luck with NERO (v5.5.5.7)

Now it works with Nero since I updated to v5.5.10.42
but I would still like to be able to burn from within XP like I use to
with the CD writer. I've also installed the XP service pack hoping
this may have uopgraded the 'CD writing Wizard' to reconisge DVD. Is
there an uprade to the ROXIO licensed wizard?
