cannot copy-"no address mark was found on the floppy disk"
When transferring files to my floppy disk drive I get a Windows error
message: "Cannot copy (files) no address mark was found on the floppy disk" . At first I thought I had it bad floppy drive unit or maybe a bad floppy disk. However, I tested three different manufactured floppy drive units & different floppy disks, all with the same Windows error message. How can this be fixed? My MOBO: GIGABYTE-880GM-UD2H TIA |

My MOBO: GIGABYTE-880GM-UD2H TIA Common errors: 1: not enabled in bios, or set wrong(720kb or 1.2mb types) 2: reversed floppy cable on motherboard(easy to get wrong) 3: reversed floppy cable on floppy(more difficult to get wrong) 4: non-formatted floppy's Best to test floppies and/or drives on an old machine. |
