NF7 not NF7s v2.0 or not?
i have an abit NF7 i know that much, i purchased from ebuyer from the net,
one thing however is that I am not sure if this NF7 is a version 2.0 or not I am right in assuming that the version 2.0 boards allow for FSB of up to 400 mhz on the CPU I would like to know if there is any way i can find out what version NF7 i am using, if it is a version 2.0 or a standard one with only support for 333 fsb the reason being i currently have an AMD 2600+ with fsb of 333mhz, i want to know if i can upgrade to an Athlon 3200+ with a 400 mhz fsb (mainly for overclocking) can any help in identifying this? |

Look in the board for a sticker that will tell you what it is On Sat, 16 Oct 2004 14:24:32 +0100, "Christo" wrote: i have an abit NF7 i know that much, i purchased from ebuyer from the net, one thing however is that I am not sure if this NF7 is a version 2.0 or not I am right in assuming that the version 2.0 boards allow for FSB of up to 400 mhz on the CPU I would like to know if there is any way i can find out what version NF7 i am using, if it is a version 2.0 or a standard one with only support for 333 fsb the reason being i currently have an AMD 2600+ with fsb of 333mhz, i want to know if i can upgrade to an Athlon 3200+ with a 400 mhz fsb (mainly for overclocking) can any help in identifying this? |

If you have it up and running, you can D/L and use a utility such as SiSoft Sandra. This will give you all the information, including version, on the motherboard. It beat looking for a sticker that may no longer be there. You can find Sandra at www.sifoftware.demon.co.uk/sandra |
