Default Intel "best generation" Core slogan

I saw a consumer electronics store advertising **** with:
Intel best generation Core CPU
eh?
Well they seemed to given up on tic-toc and have Coffee Lake, Kaby Lake and
Skylake_X selling concurrently.
So is Joe Sixpack going to shun a Skylake-X think it is only a 6?
