Default battery/AC adapter problem.... need help.

I think what he is saying is to hold the wire (='s) still while
wiggling the end piece (+'s) that connect into the laptop. If that
returns no results, then wiggle the wire while holding the end piece
and laptop still.

If Davy's suggestion does not ID the area of problem, try the same
thing with all of the other connections (converter bar thing, wall
socket).
