Default recovery assistance needed * 7118us

i am sure some kind soul can assist me. i installed an additional hard drive
in my 7118us. i have already formatted to old drive as well. i have now
decided that i want to restore the computer to its original state. i have a
restore cd but in doing some research i think i may need a recovery cd to bring
it back to its original state. is this correct? or is there a way to copy the
necessary info back onto the drive from the quick restore cd. thanks in
advance.
