Default Do Any Modern Scanners use Real Glass?

I have just binned my Canon 5000F scanner. It was working perfectly. Hassle was there were some scratches on the "glass". The
reality is the glass is actually plastic and scratches too easily. I checked a HP scanner at work and it, too has plastic instead
of glass. Canon wanted over $100 to replace the "glass" with more plastic so out went the scanner.

So, do any modern scanners use real glass in stead of plastic?

Thanks.
