Default TSNUG Call for Presentations

On behalf of the Toronto Storage Networking User Group, (T-SNUG), I am
pleased to extend this invitation to all interested parties, to propose
a presentation to our user group on one of the follow dates:

January 10 2007,
March 7 2007,
May 2 2007,
July 11 2007.

Time and location: Morning, Downtown Toronto.

All presentations are to be offered for their educational value, should
be as supplier neutral as practical. No "sales pitches", please.

Any storage related presentation will be considered, but a recent
survey of SNUG members indicated most interest related to the following
topics

65% backup and recovery
60% SAN & NAS
54% enterprise storage management
54% virtualization
44% archiving

Of particular interest are end-user presentations addressing one or
more of the following topics:
- performance modelling and verification
- emerging technologies
- case studies / business cases
- novel approaches to classic problems (BCP/DRP)

End User Case Studies and presentations are particularly encouraged.

All travel expenses must be borne by the speaker or their company.

There is also opportunity to sponsor food and beverages for our
meetings for a nominal cost.

To apply, simply send an abstract describing your presentation along
with a brief speaker biography (no more than 1 page in total) to
.

Please accept our thanks in advance for your proposal. All submissions
will be reviewed by the TSNUG Selection Committee, and a formal
"Invitation to Present" will be issued to those accepted.

Best regards,

Geoffrey Milos, President
Toronto Storage Networking User Group
