Default GA-8IPE1000-L Upgrade

I will be upgrading my machine soon. My current setup is a GA-6VXE7+ with a
Pentium III 750 and 384MB memory running Windows XP Pro. I want to buy a
GA-8IPE1000-L from a local supplier here in Houston. What I need to know is
which processor and memory works with this board. Can I use a Pentium 4
2.GHz 800Mhz and two 256MB DDR400(nonECC). Any information will be
appreciated.

That CPU and RAM will be fine. I just built a new system for a
customer with that board and it turned out sweet. Another very nice
mainboard from Gigabyte.
