Curious Direct CD problem
Despite warnings I've generally had few problems ith Direct CD until
this: After installing MyDVD & Iomega HotBurn Pro on a computer, it will only read a single MPEG file from a Direct CD filled with JPEGs and a few MPEGS, showing all else as blank despite My Computer (and the other computer they were made on) confirming there are many megabytes of files on them. Direct CDs made with the problem computer can be read on the other one, just not the other way around. When a disk was inserted I got a message asking me what I wanted to do with video files; Play with WinDVD had been selected (not by me!). Changing it to Take No Action hasn't fixed the problem. I just uninstalled HotBurn, no difference |
