Default Resolution reset after each reboot

I have a Windows XP Pro box (Service Pack 3) with an NVIDIA card
(can't say which except that it is PCI Express). Everytime I reboot my
machine my custom resolution settings get reset.

Is there any way to stop this ??? It is f***ing annoying as hell.

Thanks

download and run Belarc and you will be able to see ALL what's on your comp,
hardware and software.....the vid card is under Display.

then go to the Vid Card web and update your Driver...............

I'd go with that it sounds as if the driver is set for the wrong card and
although it works manually when windows reboots it detects a conflict and
runs to a default setting there is an autodetect facility on the nvidia
site http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Scan.aspx?lang=en-us

Sorry to be responding so late, but I've had some internet problems
that appeared to be solved now.

I'll try those sites, thanks!
