Default Skypond and Kabypond hyperthreading bug

allegedly this was discovered a while back, so it can't be triggered too often.
Anyway I turn off hyperthreading as I doubt operating cisterns are proficient
at scheduling all the different processors (Bulldozer, Zen, HCC Xeons) as well as simple i5/Phenom II style CPUs.
