Default PCI IRQ Routing Table Error on POST causes loads of video problems.

Does anyone know what that means? I just bought a new motherboard &
amd64 athlon; The mobo does not have onboard video, but I have this PCI
ATI Rage Card. I have 5 PCI slots, & an AGP slot.

After POST, I get a 'PCI IRQ routing table error [0:05:00]". My mobo is
MSI K8T Neo-V (MS-7032) w/latest BIOS (which is AMI) off the MSI site
(version 5.0). My video card is the only device using an expansion
slots.

Problem 1: IRQ Routing table error [0:05:00]

Problem 2: Load defaults always gives the 8-beep error (from
http://www.ami.com/support/doc/AMIBIOS-codes.pdf: 8 beeps=display
memory error, also, "If the system video adapter is an add-in card,
replace or reseat the
video adapter. If the video adapter is an integrated part of the system
board, the board may be faulty.")

Problem 3a: On setup of Win2k, BSODs saying that the BIOS is not fully
ACPI compliant & tells me to install disabling HAL/ACPI (by pressing
F7)
Problem 3b: Disabling HAL/ACPI installs, but the end result is video @
640x480 x 16 colors, and unable to install drivers; Error in device
manager says the BIOS did not supply enough info to properly configure
the device

Problem 4: Windows XP installs perfectly, however, video is super
crappy. I'm not a gamer so take that into consideration cause "crappy"
to a gamer might be normal to me. So when I say something's crappy,
it's absolutely horrid. For example, scrolling a simple window like
notepad visually repaints the window like I was downloading a picture &
displaying as it comes using a dialup connection....this process also
runs the CPU up to 70-90% and takes about 2 seconds.

I've tried different memory, uninstalled all hardware except memory,
CPU, and video card & still have the same result.

ANY help or at least pointers?

Interesting, I believe all your problems would be solved by simply
installing an AGP card.

have you tried a different graphics card?
did you bother to install the chipset drivers before trying to install the
graphics?

Haha...I just ordered an AGP card (geforce 420...for about $15). Gonna
see if I get the same result(s).

Haven't tried any other graphics cards cause this is the only one I
have...I've always stuck with onboard video whenever purchasing a
motherboard cause onboard suits my needs perfectly. I only had this
card because it has an RCA connection so that I can connect my TV to it
& use it as another monitor.

I can't install anything without the graphics though...cause I can't
see anything (and I think BIOS gives the beeping errors too if it
doesn't find a suitable PCI/AGP card).

Oh yeah, you know what else is funny? MSI, the brand of motherboard
that I have, technical support said the same thing...use an AGP card
and retest...

in the bios..change the switch
PnP OS installed? - NO/YES whichever is the opposite of the current setting.
reset configuration data -YES
If you have
'USE MS routing table' or
'enable ms ROUTING TABLE'? - ENABLED

I've had to have cleared the CMOS about 30 times so far

'Load defaults' even gives me the 8 error beeps...

I just tried throwing this video card in my old 32bit system and as I
thought, no problem whatsoever, so it can't be the card.
