Default Where to buy computer parts in Los Angeles? (cpu+mobo)

Where to buy computer parts in Los Angeles? I need a cpu+mobo combo. I
can not buy via the net since it takes too long. I must buy today or
day after tomorrow latest. Best Buy does not carry the items I am
looking for.
Please respond fast to this thread.
I am looking for a P4 3.2GHz and a good mobo. Any suggestions where I
can go, pay and get the stuff?

There used to be free newspapers called Computer Currents etc given
away in newstands all over LA county. A zillion ads from cheapo mom
and pop stores used to be in it. I would always look in there.

And theres FRYs near manhattan beach.

I would also check in pricewatch.com for places in LA and then call
them to see if you can pick it up.

Thanks for the reply. I went through Pricewatch and not a single one
on CA has an actual store. I shall check out Frys.
Anything else if they don´t carry the items I´m after?

Like the other poster mentioned PC club

Arent there Computer Currents and other free computer newspapers given
away at news racks all over the place anymore? Thats where you see the
cheapest mom and pop advertisements in the past.

I used to see one at FRYs actually and on sidewalks at Torrance and
other locations. Theres a similar thing here at the COmpusa. They
actually have a news rack in the store with ads from all the local mom
and pop stores which where they sell the CPUs and stuff like that.

Check the advertisers here - this is actually Computer Currents
website:

Yeesh - I havent lived there in 6 years ! You should know it way
better than I do.
