A8V-VM Motherboard Question
I just purchased an ASUS A8V-VM/Athlon 64 3000+ combo, and installed
two matching sticks of memory in the proper slots for dual channel operation. Since this is my first attempt at dual channel operation, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. In Bios, I can't find where I'm supposed to set the PC to dual channel. Does it automatically switch to dual channel when you install the matching memory sticks in the correct slots? I don't find this info. in the manual, either. It tells you to install the memory sticks in certain slots for dual channel operation. Any info. is appreciated. |

Yes, it automatically runs in dual channel mode if you put them in the correct slots. --- KC COMPUTERS www.kc-computers.com Computer Sales & Service since 1991!!! A8V-VM Motherboard Question
It works in dual channel mode automatically. You do not have to set it.
