Yahoo Messenger and firewire miniDV
Hello,
two weeks ago i got a Canon MV890 miniDV videocamera. it has the Firewire output. I tried various configurations and i was happy to see that Yahoo messenger was able to see the Canon as a traditional webcam Yesterday I connected the Canon and... no way... yahoo does not see the Canon... Strange... since the computer (Windows XP windows updated) is able to see the Canon and any kind of video editing programs works just fine. i tried on another computer of different brand (again... Windows updated) and.. same results. WHY ?????? any new patches on windows prevent to use the canon as a webcam? Anyone experiencing same problems? Bye
