Default Asus K8V SE Deluxe - Temporary HDD shutdown

Hi!

I've got two hard disks connected to my primary IDE controller. When I
start my computer I hear my hard disks powering down. One second later
they re-start and the system boots up normally. Why are my hard disk
powered down temporarily? I've read that you have to connect the disks
to the SECONDARY IDE channel to avoid this problem. But this isn't a
good solution I think.
