how to install/activate WLAN on acer aspire 1400
Hi,
I try to re-configure an acer aspire 1400LC notebook for a friend of mine. Everything´s wonderful, but I can´t activate WLAN. There is a hardware-switch on the right side of the notebook, but turning it to ON-position does not bring any result and the key-combination Fn-F8, which also has the WLAN-Symbol on the F8-key, does not bring the desired result. I think there must be some sort of software/driver, which has to be installed in order to activate WLAN. Am I right ? Thanks. Axel

Have the same trouble with my aspire 1400. The hardware switch does not response. Do you find out yet. Please informe me if you did. Kind regards, Jan
