Default iomega rev 35GB Atapi drive / backup softwa 'iomega automatic backup pro (IAB)' / bugs?

Hi,

I have an iomega rev drive (Windows 2003 Server) and I want to use
Automatic backup pro (by iomega)

Using this software, I regognized the following problems:

If I manually start a full backup, everything works fine.

If I (either manually or scheduled) start an incremental backup, IAB
logs about 20-30 entries into the logfile and only backups changed
files, if they are on local drives. Backups of folders localized on
mapped network-drives leave to the same wrong entries in the logfile,
while changed files are n o t saved!

Why?

Is this a known bug of the IAB-Software?

Can anyone tell me how to get an incremental backup without shooting my
logfile with thousands of entries?

Thanks for every helpful answer.

Yours

André

(Sorry about my bad english, but school is already a long time ago...)
