Its cheaper if you send it to troll boy via UPS overnight. I'll send the
troll the batteries the same way, overnight express.
Because the only one he is screwing is himself. :-)

"RTFM" :-) wrote in message news
after reading this off topic messages, I have to ask.............

And I had to answer, just so you will know the truth -- elector

started the
flame war. There were 3 messages in the thread before he lumbered

into the
fray. (However, I am in the process of having it stopped.)

========== I posted this note:

I need to be able to move documents created in Word (Word 2000, or

Word 9)
and its spelling and grammar checker, into the world of OE 6 and

newsgroups.
The key is the need to preserve all of the formatting, fonts,

colors, etc.
created in Word.

It seems that no matter what you do in Word, or the format in which

you save
the work, what you seen in OE does not match what you see in Word.

The
difference seems to be the implementation of html in the two

products.

In order to get the documents to look halfway the way I want it, I

have to
edit and correct everything in Word, then send it to my email

address. I
then had to drag the email to the newsgroup -- thus opening the OE

editor.
Then I have to format it into plain text, and then format back to

rich text
(html). This was the only way to get the resulting document to

correctly
show my fonts and for it to respond to the "View size" command.

Then, the
final editing had to be done in OE. That's just too klugey to

accept, so
there MUST be a better way.

I could die of carpal tunnel syndrome if I don't find an elegant

solution to
this document migration problem!

HELP? Ideas?

========= MrDancer responded:

I just have to ask.... why do you need Rich Text Format for

newsgroups? I
can't think of any newsgroups where it is required, and it is, in

almost all
cases, greatly discouraged to use RTF on newsgroups. You really

shouldn't
have used it on this one. Usenet frowns on RTF.

Many people use newsreaders or browsers that don't fully support RTF

and can
crash or lockup when clicking on a message like yours.

The only time I'll dare to use RTF is when sending personal e-mails

to folks
that I know will enjoy it. In those cases, I've had no problems

with 'copy
and paste' from Word97 or Word2000 to OE6.

========= I replied:

It is the architecture of the University of Phoenix Online. Simple

copy and
paste does not preserve all of the Word formatting -- that is the

problem.

======= elector, the self-appointed Internet cop, then started the

war:

G: or whatever your name is:
You sir are a bull**** artist. Your Using Outlook Express as your

news
composer and reader from FDN (Florida Digital Networks) and your

forging the
President of the United States
"official" email address. Its a federal offense to use a government

domain
name for the purpose your using it for. And as Anthony and Mr.

Dancer have
stated and I also told you about this before that your not to post

in HTML
but your either too stupid to understand what people are telling you

or you
think you'll out smart the folks here that don't need to see your

junk
posts.

You don't have a PB computer so go to the Microsoft news group and

ask that
stupid question.

If I see more posts like you have done here now and in the past no

matter
what ISP you have I will make sure they take care of their customer.

Its bad
form to post in HTML and to top post and you have been told this in

the
past. I am sure the ISP you use will love seeing that "White House

Domain
Address" which will also more than likely get your account toasted.

Now stop
trolling this group and go away on your own.

Elector

I will have to point out that the other posters were not responding as
to ask a question about your problem, but to state that HTML did not
have any use in these news groups and or in any every day use.

Mr. Elector also pointed out that fact in his original reply to you as
to have you stop posting in HTML.
I also note that Ben Myers, Anthony, MrDancer, Simon, Neon Green pka
Jack, and a few others told you to also stop posting in HTML and you
proceeded to post in that fashion.

And you even wrote another off topic post defending your right to do
so.

One has to wonder if Mr. Elector and the others had you pegged right
from the start. The post had no business in this group to begin with,
as the others here that have followed all because of your trolling and
flame posts.

Please read the links that was posted previously and in them the words
Mr. Elector used were polite and cordial. Not filled with any type of
bad language and in fact he gave you the link for assistance, and made
the comment he liked the colors you were posting in and also said it
was not good policy to post in RTF and that it was frowned upon in
news group postings.

I cannot see where in that first post by you, and answered by Mr.
Elector he was unprofessional in his means or manners.

it would seem you have a problem with conformity to proper social
standards and good net sense. He not only pointed out the reasons why
it was not good to post as you were doing; but he also in other posts
kept a civility towards you until your "Ignorance of elector" post.

It would seem to me and others that may read these links that it was a
posted "truth" and you sir are the one that attacked him.

Again your worth here is zero, your credibility is zero, and there is
nothing you can say or do that will change that.

I believe others here have also told you in other terms to just move
along. You are not wanted here and never will be.

I almost feel sorry for you.

Ben - I am shocked at your naiveté. If you want a moderated group, then
create one. If you want to support someone who meddles in the private lives
other others, stay the course. His meddling will end soon.

Hey troll:

You were told to go away. Not get lost butt hole.,
Your letters and calls do absolutely no good. Like I said before
please keep the cards and letters coming MORON.
I am more than a match for a loser like you.

Produce the proof your a Ph.D, a Real Business person, the University
of Georgia never heard of you. The Internal revenue service has been
contacted by me and they will be calling on you also.

Get off this group or the Homeland Security office will get an email
from me stating your misuse of the Presidents domain name in your
first feeble attempts at spoofing your address. With a full copy of
the headers.

I have again archived your attempt at identity theft, like last time.
Your a PROVEN LIAR AND LOSER.

You are a pathetic loser.

Stay out of this group troll. Your not wanted here. You have no
Packard Bell group since its made up of only you and your alters. I
also noticed that your back to forging the identity of a regular
poster to cause more harm and what? Your a liar and loser and you will
be terminated.
