easy CD v6 and MP3

I just got easy CD and DVD creator v6 with a new computer. I just discovered
it cant convert audio tracks to MP3 , it only does WMA.

Why's that? all previous easy CD creators could do MP3 ripping

Does anyone know what I can do, if I want to use Easy CD and DVD creator v6
to convert to MP3?

My advice is to dump Easy CD, it is ****e and created 15 straight coasters
for me,
burn4free (freeware) worked a dream first time.

Surely there are other products for creating mp3's?
I would not expect an audio cd product to create mp3's in the first
place.

You need to purchase the cRoxio's own mp3 encoder.
Use CDex or Exact Audio Copy with LAME encoder.
