Default GTS 250 & v195.62 - Motocross Madness 2 malfunctions

I've run MS Motocross Madness 2 for years on this machine (Dell 670)
and the last Dell workstation, but now with a GTS 250 and 195.62 drivers
the MCM2 menus are all screwed up. Also have nHancer set up for FSX.
Would like to identify and solve what is messing up MCM2. Is it the
screen resolution? or the game's architecture?

Are the nHancer settings for FSX active while you are running MCM2? If so,
set everything to defaults and disable nHancer.

Disable FSAA and ambient occlusion and see if it makes a difference.

Default GTS 250 & v195.62 - Motocross Madness 2 malfunctions

On Sun, 10 Jan 2010 11:55:44 -0500, "First of One"
brought the following to our attention:

Are the nHancer settings for FSX active while you are running MCM2?
If so, set everything to defaults and disable nHancer.

Disable FSAA and ambient occlusion and see if it makes a difference.

NHancer isn't running when MCM2 is started, and there's no profile (that
I'm aware of) for MCM2. Maybe I should make a profile for it and set
everything to default? Or is that a contradiction to what you said?

Also what is FSAA and where is the setting?

Thanks,

-Ed

For simplicity's sake while troubleshooting, disable nHancer when you want
to run MCM2. Once you get the game rendering correctly, feel free to create
a profile in nHancer and experiment.

Also what is FSAA and where is the setting?

FSAA is simply the acronym for full-scene anti-aliasing. Set it along with
anisotropic filtering to "application controled" through the normal nVidia
control panel. Disable ambient occlusion, too.
