Default Do GeForce cards have keep desktop icons position option ?

Hi,
Always had Matrox and always used their option in settings somewhere, to
keep the position of desktop icons in event of a glitch, or a safe mode, or
even user initiated shutdown. With lots of icons this was always vital to
me. Now that I am getting a Geforce FX5950 does it also have this and where.
I vaguley recall a freeware that retained icon position but not sure where
it was.
Thanx
Steve
