Default Hibernate Desktop Background

XP Home seems to come up with a plain blue
background from hibernate, recovering your correct
desktop after you restart.

A bug hardly worth mentioning except the one XP
Home system I have that has Ubuntu dual boot comes
up from hibernate with the correct desktop
background.

Apparently it's some bug in the Dell bootloader,
which Ubuntu replaces.

(On the other hand, Total Recorder won't come out
of hibernate with the Ubuntu loader, so it's not
all gravy.)

I have 7 Windows XP Home machines and all work well hibernate. The only
exception is two Gateway laptops that will fail sometimes if they have more
than 1GB installed (the MS patch for this problem doesn't fix this). The
only other time I have seen this is with some third party driver which needs
to be removed or updated.
